Snow Again?

It is the last day of March and it is SNOWING! I know that I am not the only one thinking this but...I am so ready for SPRING!
Noah and I had to go experience the snow, but he didn't enjoy it nearly as much as he did the first time he played in it.

This time it was actively snowing and the wind was blowing. YUCK!

11 Months Old

Today for Noah's 11 month photo shoot we played around the house for a while before we went to a couple parks.
Noah was having an off photo day, so for 95% of the pictures I took, he was crying or at least pouting. Noah enjoys riding on this bike in our living room, but he was a little nervous on his bike, from his "big sister" **Alaina, outside of our living room.

He didn't like the tunnel.

He liked holding on to the bar and banging on it for about 2 pictures, then started pouting again.

Noah and I went home from Rotary Park, had lunch with Daddy, and had a nap. After that, we went out again. This time to the playground, by the fairgrounds, for some more pictures. Noah was not impressed with this, until a couple elementary school age girls came running up to talk. He smiled at those girls, but of course, I was talking to the girls and missed all the smiles with the camera. And as soon as the girls left, so did the smiles.

I decided to try for 1 more picture stop, on the slide. And hallelujah, this is our ONE good smiling picture all day.

How time has flown by and our baby is 11 months old. How can that be possible? We only have another month until we celebrate is 1st birthday. Ahhh!

**Note: Alaina is my cousins 3 1/2 year old daughter. She calls Noah her baby brother, so she is "big sister" Alaina.

New Crib for Noah!

The problem with hand-me-down nursery furniture is...it breaks! So lucky for Noah, he got a beautiful new crib. Thanks Grandpa Pete and Grandma Paula.
Noah is helping Daddy tighten the last bolt!

Noah is checking out his new crib before we put his bedding and mattress back in.

Noah is playing in his new crib.

Noah enjoyed playing in his bed, right after we put it together. Hopefully he enjoys sleeping in it as well as he has enjoyed playing in it.

Ticklish Feet

Andy has discovered Noah's new tickle spot. It is his feet! They are only really ticklish when he is in the tub, when they are being rubbed with the washclothe. Noah laughs out loud. It is very cute!

"Twin Cousins"

Not many people get to watch babies grow up so close in age (unless you have twins) as the Crossler Family has. Noah is 12 days older than Sophia, his cousin, and we have been watching them grow up together, and what a blast it has been.

They love to play together!

Sophia shares her crackers, really well!

And then wonders why Noah doesn't share better!

Nothing could be better than watching these two play together (maybe except twins;). How much fun they are!

Growing up!

Noah has been changing so much over the last few few weeks.
He pulls himself up on everything, including things not so sturdy.

He is crawling very well. So far he only managed to clean off one dvd shelf before he got caught.

And he continues to make the best faces, to brighten any kind of day.

10 Months Old

Today for Noah's 10 month photo shoot, we went for a little excursion to the arboretum to find a cool place to take a couple pictures. We found some stairs for Noah to sit on; that went well until he leaned forward and hit his head on the stair below.

We kept walking to find another cool place for a picture. I found this neat little tree for Noah to stand by. While walking down the hill, to this tree, I slipped and got mud all over. Noah was not impressed. Right after this picture was shot, he leaned forward and fell face first into the bark.

Finally, we left the arboretum, muddy and sad. I decided to go to a park. So we drove to the little park that is across the street from our future residence. Noah played in the swing.

Then moved on to the train.

Once we were home Noah crawled around the house (which he has gotten quite good at).

What an eventful way to spend a Monday afternoon!

20 Years of Music Excellence

Tom, Andy's dad, has been the music director at the First United Methodist Church for the past 20 years. Today at church we had a ceremony honoring his service to the church. We had a great time, with many family members present, 2 full pews worth. What a special treat for Tom! Not only was the ceremony honoring him a surprise, but the fact Laura was in town was an even greater suprise. There was not a dry eye in the sanctuary, as Laura walked down the aisle and gave Tom a hug. He received a new baton, amongst other gifts that were given from members of the bell and chancel choirs, as well a members from the congregation. Thanks Tom for your 20 years of service and the many that will follow!

Crawling & the Ball

Noah is beginning to figure out how to crawl. This is his not so graceful attempt, but quite cute. He had to prove to a few grandmas that he can do it when he wants to; he just prefers to stand.

This ball has become a fun and exciting addition to Noah's toy basket. Noah has figured out how to make it light up on his own; he loves to hold it and light it up, by continually banging it with other objects, usually his hands.
