Here are Noah's b-day pictures as promised. While Andy was BBQing kids and a few chaperones played in the lawn.Opening presents. Sophia was more interested in Noah's presents that he was.
The Awesome Birthday Cake
The party is over and Noah is getting ready for bed.

Happy Birthday Noah!

Today we celebated Noah's 2nd Birthday. We had a great party at our house. That afternoon I made potato salad, veggie bars, chocolate covered strawberries and fruit salad and that evening we barbequed hotdogs and hamburgers. The food was great! Noah got some great presents, all of which he loves! And the cake was really fun (it was a baskin robbins cake and had Mater and Lightning McQueen on it). Noah was mostly interested in the plastic toys on top. I delegated the photography aspect of the party, so when I get the pictures, I will post them.

Noah's 2 year photo shoot

I have decided that each year around the time Noah completes his year milestone we are going to have professional studio pictures taken. This year we had them taken by Peter Roise. His studio is located above the Shirt Shack on 3rd Street in Moscow. He took awesome pictures. I would definitely recommend him and we will probably be going back next year. Here is the link to the pictures he took: http://peterroise.com/clients/noah-crossler. Enjoy!!

Catch Up

I have finally caught up on all the my pictures for the last month and a half. I have been busy working on Noah's birthday quilt so blogging has been set to the back burner. I finished the top of the quilt yesterday, so nap time has been freed up again. All that is left is quilting and binding. When that is done I will post pictures of the finished product. The front is pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

"Say Cheese"

Noah has become such a ham, when you say, "Say Cheese" with the camera in your hand he makes some really cute faces. These first 2 pictures were a result of that.

Noah was playing in the armoire of his dresser.
He would close himself in the armoire and play peek-a-boo with me. And Onyx would wait and watch for him to reappear.

We have so much fun together!!

Good Friends

Noah and Onyx love each other. This is the first time I have caught them sitting together. Noah loves to "pet nicely" and throw her balls for her. Today they were even playing in the closet together. How fun!

Car Man

Noah has recently discovered his toy cars. Part of it may be his facination with the Disney movie "Cars." But he will stand and play with them at the coffee table for hours. He drives them around making car sounds "vroom, vroom" for most of them or "weeoohh, weeoohh" for the fire truck. He is so delightful to watch.

Enjoying the outdoors

We walked to the park just up the road from us to play in the sunshine. Noah has really begun to enjoy the outdoors and would like to be outside ALL the time. He has started to love the swings and he goes down the slides mostly by himself. So fun!! Noah was riding down our sidewalk on his little car. I think it is time for something a little bigger. He is hardly able to push himself because his legs are getting so long.
Here is one of our views of Moscow. I love living on a hill.

Playin' the piano

Everytime we go to Andy's parents' house Noah heads straight for the piano. He loves to spend as much time as he can banging on the keys. Maybe someday he will make REAL music on it.

Sledding

It has snowed 3 times this winter and each time it snowed a couple inches and was gone the next day. Fortunately, this time it snowed we got to play in it. Noah thought the snow was wonderful. "Cool" and "pretty" were his choice words out playing. We went sledding at my parents house and had a great time. Noah threw a fit when we had to come in even though his hands and face were freezing. Any suggestions on keeping mittens on a toddler, I would love to hear it. This picture is at the Residence Street park before we went sleding. You can kind of see residential Moscow in the background.
